Daily Lunchbox Recipes For Kids

Its is very difficult for the mothers to prepare a new dish everyday that their children like. It really worries mothers when their kids don’t eat their food and bring their lunch back. What should be their daily lunchbox recipes for kids ? Mothers want them to eat healthy food. Eating a balanced diet is very important for the kid’s physical and mental health.

So, Here are the daily lunchbox recipes for kids that you can prepare for your child. And it is guaranteed that your children will definitely enjoy their lunch and the mothers will also be tension free because they will know that their kids have eaten healthy.

So, Here We Go:

1. PANEER TIKKA WRAP :

This is one of the best lunchbox recipes for kids. Paneer is considered as the best, tasty and healthy ingredient which is loved by every child.

RECIPE:

(a.) Cut the paneer in small cubes and marinate them with Dr. Oetker Funfoods Tandoori Mayonnaise. You can also add chopped onion and capsicum. It is optional to onion and capsicum. Along with it; add some salt, pepper and black pepper according to taste.

(b.) Take a pan, put it on a low flame and add 2-3 tablespoon of oil to it. Put the cubes in a pan and cook until they become golden brown.

(c.) Prepare chapati/paratha and apply tandoori mayonnaise to it and put the paneer in the middle of the paratha, roll it and wrap it with foil paper. Your paneer tikka is ready

2. TANDOORI SANDWICH

When it comes for sandwich. Children always say YESS. So, Here is the recipe for Tandoori sandwich.

RECIPE:

(a.) Take two boiled potatoes and mash well. Add chopped onions, salt, pepper, garam masala and corn flour to it. Mix well.

(b.) Divide the mashed potatoes to equal sized balls. Apply oil on your palms, flatten them and stick up the cracked edges.

(c.) Heat oil in a cast iron or non stick pan. Deep fry the tikkies until they become golden brown.

(d.) Apply butter on the surface of bread and then apply mayonnaise to it. Put tikki on it and add slices of onion, tomato, cucumber, etc to it.

(e.) Put bread in a toaster and bake well. Take out the sandwich and your sandwich is ready.

3. WHITE CHEESE PASTA

 Now a days children like to eat something which seems to be delicious by just looking to its presentation. Here is the recipe for white cheese pasta that you can add as a daily lunchbox recipes for kids . This recipe is slightly different for white sause pasta.

RECIPE:

We will first boil the pasta for this recipe.

(a.) Heat some water, bring it to a boil and then add some salt. Add 1/2 cup pasta as required.

(b.) Boil it for 4 to 5 minutes and then strain it off.

(c.) Heat 1 TSP oil in a pan and add 2 TSP butter. Add 1 TSP crushed garlic or garlic paste.

(d.) Saute for a minute and then add 1 medium sized chopped onion. Cook well.

(e.) Now the onion become slightly pink in colour, add 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 TSP oregano, 1/4 TSP black pepper powder or crushed black pepper and some salt as per taste.

(f.) Add 1 cube of grated processed cheese and mix well. Cook the sauce on medium flame for some time. The sauce will start to thicken. At that time, add the boiled pasta and mix well

(g.) Cook for some more time and then at the end, add red chilli flakes if you wish to. Also sprinkle chopped coriander leaves to make it look more delicious. And here is your white cheese pasta ready.

4. FRIED RICE

Rice is a meal which is loved by every child. So you can also make it a part of daily lunchbox recipe of your child. 

RECIPE:

(a.) Take 2-3 TBS oil in a pan. Put some chopped onion , peas, corn, carrot, capsicum and tomato puree to it. Saute well.

(b.) Add some salt, pepper, black pepper, garam masala, coriander powder, vinegar or lemon juice and turmeric to it. Cook it well.

(c.) After 1 or 2 minutes, add white rice to it and mix well. Your fried rice recipe is ready.

5. RAVA IDLI

Idli is considered as the healthiest diet not only for children but for each of us.

RECIPE:

(a.) Take 1 TSP of oil in a pan, add 1/4 TSP Mustard seeds and curry leaves to it and saute well. 

(b.) After a minute, add 1 cup rava to it and roast it well on a low flame for 3-4 minutes and allow it to cool.

(c.) Transfer it to a bowl and add 3 TSP of yogurt and 1/4 cup of water to it.

(d.) Give it a mix and keep it at rest for 20 minutes. Add salt to it and you can also add peas and coriander leaves if you wish to.

(e.) Grease idli stand with oil and 1 TSP of ENO to the idli batter. Mix it well and put it in the stand.

 (f.) Give it steam and cover the lid for 10-12 minutes. Allow it to cool and your RAVA IDLI is ready.

6. EGG ROLL

Egg Roll is the easiest thing to prepare as it is ready in very less time. And egg is also a good source of calcium which is necessary for the growth of a child.

RECIPE

(a.) Cut thick slices of onion and capsicum, grate the carrots, mince the ginger and keep aside. 

(b.) Take a tawa or frying pan and put it on medium heat. When it is sufficiently hot add one teaspoon of butter and the onions, carrots and capsicum. Cook on high flame for 2 minutes.

 (c.) Add salt, pepper, lemon juice, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and cook for another one minute. Remove from fire and keep aside.

(d.) Prepare omelette and chapati/paratha.

(e.) Place the omelette over the paratha. Spoon the cooked capsicum, carrot and onion mixture at the centre of the omelette and fashion it into a roll. Wrap the roll with a foil paper. Your egg roll is ready.

7. BREAD ROLL

Bread roll is the favourite snack loved by the children. But it can also be prepared as a lunchbox recipee for the children.

RECIPE:

(a.) Mash 2-3 boiled potatoes and add chopped onions, coriander leaves and salt to it.

(b.) take a piece of bread and cut the edges of the bread. Dip the white part of bread in water and take out.

(c.) Press the bread gently and put the mashed potatoes in the middle of the bread and roll it. Cover the mashed potatoes with the bread.

(d.) Take oil in a pan and deep fry the roll. Fry until they become golden brown. Similarly, you can prepare more rolls and your bread rolls are ready.
