BASIC SKINCARE TIPS DURING SUMMER🌞🌴

Summers are super hectic when it comes to skincare. Sun causing powerful rays end up spoiling your skin and body.

Well, talking about skincare, one needs to identify their skin type, which is an important part of starting a routine or say a basic thing.

Hot winds and Hot weather causes irritation to the skin. It causes water loss and end up dehydrating your skin. You need to assist your skin and care a bit more in summers for a clear skin.

Let’s have a look to some skincare tips during summer to make your skin glow.

1. Identify your skin type first

This is a necessary step , you need to identify your skin type . There are many factors which will help you to identify it such as :

• Oily skin :
a) Produces oil glands from neck and cheek areas.
b) Acne and blackheads
c) Large pores and face looks more shiny.

• Dry skin : 
a) Dry patches appears
b) Dull and itchy skin
c) Fine pores

• Combination skin :
a) Forehead, nose seems oily
b) cheek area remains dry

Before applying any product, have a look to your skin type so that you won’t regret using the product.

2. Exfoliate as much as you can.

Why exfoliation is important?

It is a process to remove dead skin cells from your skin. It is important to let your moisturisers and creams absorb effectively and helps to gain a healthy skin naturally.

How to exfoliate?

You need to just scrub your face with a good exfoliater/ cleanser gently.  Cleanse your face in circular motion and wash off from hot water.

3. Moisturising is an important step too!

Make your mornings fresh and hydrated. Well, it’s important to choose moisturizer of your skin type such as gel based moisturisers are best for oily skin and rich moisturisers for dry skin. 

4. Sunscreen Sunscreen Sunscreen

Invest in good sun protectant as powerful UV rays can damage your skin badly. Always have a look at the SPF.  SPF 30+ helps to prevent uneven skin tone and dark spots. Sunscreen prevents itchiness on the face and   is a good investment for every season.

  5. Prevent sunburn using aloe vera

Sunburn protection is important though to prevent itchiness and burnt skin.
Just freeze some aloe vera cubes and apply them to the affected areas of sunburn.
Be a little gentle and give some care to your skin.

6. Hydrate yourself ( drink enough water ) 

It is much important for your skin and body too as due to sweating, water level in your body gets depleted which needs to be cover soon.
Hydrate yourself by having at least 8-10 glasses of water. You must have coconut water during summers.

7. Sleep well 

You need to have a good and perfect sleep to help in preventing skin issues not during summers but  all seasons.

Take at least 7-9 hours of sleep ( not more than that unless you will end up being lazy and fatigue) to have a clear skin. A good sleep means a good skin because body makes stress hormones while sleeping which is considered to be effective in getting a healthy skin.

8. Always keep a facial mist with yourself.

Facial mist would help you hydrate your skin anytime anywhere. Whenever you feel sweat on your face, apply mist on it to keep your skin cool.

You can make  a mist at your home only.

Ingredients:

You just require some rose petals, aloe vera gel and water.

Method

Put rose petals in water in good quantity and boil it until the colour changes. After that, take an empty spray bottle and add some aloe vera gel to it. Then, add the boiled water to it and shake. Your shake n spray mist is ready to be use.

9. Protect your eyes 

Skin around eyes are sensitive as compared to other parts. These areas need little more care than others. You can’t skip this step.
Never forget to apply eye cream before going outside to relieve yourself from sun damages.
Sunglasses are helpful in protection of your eye areas from harmful UV rays.

10. Give a mini facial to yourself

Masks play a good role in removing dirt and unclogged pores on your skin. Certain types of masks are available for your skin care such as clay masks are good for removing pores, cream based masks are good for sun burns and gel based masks for hydrating your skin.
Apply any mask  for at least 30 minutes to  get a healthy and dirt free skin during your summer time.

11. Don’t forget about lip care 

Lips are also considered gentle and sensitive and needs some care too. Apply lip balm of at least SPF 30 before going outside. Keep a lip balm always with you and reapply it in every too hours to avoid cracky lips.

12. Get your skin self tanned

What is self tanning?

Basically, it is basically a process of making your skin look naturally tanned and glow.

Why is it important?

It has no harmful effects on your body. By self tanning, you can actually protect your skin from sun  burns due to prolonged exposure to sun.
