Upgrade Your Old Clothes And Look Flawless

Your closet is sometimes full of old clothes that you want to throw away? At the same tine,  you don’t want to spend money on new clothes? It’s better to upgrade your old clothes and give them the second life!

Don’t spend money on new clothes because we will show you pretty cool hacks on how to upgrade your old clothes at home!

1. STYLING AN OVER SIZED T-SHIRT

Getting dressed can sometimes puzzle up your mind especially when you are tiny or skinny.
You can style your over-sized t-shirt by using a chain belt by tying it around your waist with thigh high boots and you can wear a denim jacket over it to complete the look and you have a fire outfit!

2. CONVERT YOUR OLD T-SHIRT INTO A TUBE TOP

You can convert your old t-shirt into a cute tube top. So, you just need to measure the length of tube top by putting the t-shirt on your body and cut it. Then, with the top half cutout of the T-shirt, we are going to make the strings for the tube top. So for this you need to cut 4 even straps( 1 inch thick) and long enough to tie a bow. Flip your tube top inside out and went ahead and attach the straps to the inside of your tube tops with a fabric glue then, flip it over and do the same thing to the other side, now upgrade your old clothes and make sure that everything is even and the glue is properly dried.

TIP: If you are worried about fraying, you can also go along the edges that were cut with some clear nail polish.

3. CONVERTING OLD T SHIRT INTO AN OFF SHOULDER TOP

Take the shirt and cut the neck straight across with the help of a roller or a scissors and also cut out a portion of sleeves to Gove it a off shoulder look and cut them short. You can cut your t shirt short as much you need then hit the edges with a clear nail polish to prevent fraying and let that dry And  you are done with your new off shoulder top will be ready.

4. CONVERT AN OLD DRESS INTO A CO-ORDS / 2-PIECE DRESS

Mark the fabric with some chalk as it would be the length of your top. Draw a straight line across. Cut it off and you will have your top and a skirt. Make sure to stretch out the bottom edge so that the cut edge will despair and that’s it your new dress is ready!

5. FRINGING A BORING T-SHIRT

Fringing a t-shirt is a cheap and easy way to create a new look. Firstly, mark where that fringe will start and cut them straight. An important idea is that fringe lines should be of the same size. Knot the fringes, take two neighboring strips and knot them. Do this for all the strips on your shirt and a fashionable fringing top is ready!

6. DYE YOUR OLD T-SHIRTS

Bored of your old and plain t-shirts? Don’t worry you can upgrade your old clothes and turn it into something really cool by dying it using different techniques and also fabric paint is a more natural way.

Lets make a spiral print. Place your t-shirt  on a flat surface and pinch the fabric at the center and twist to make a spiral shape. You can use a fork to get the spiral shape. Bind spiral with 3 rubbers. Your t-shirt will be divided into 6 parts like a cake. Cover the t-shirt with bleach and wait a bit. Next, cover every part of the t-shirt with different color and dry. Remove the rubber bands and your new t-shirt is READY!

7. TRANSFORM YOUR OVER-SIZED T-SHIRT INTO A CROP TOP

So basically we  are to  going start by giving  t-shirt a plain raw hem. Leave 2 cm extra fabric because we will be folding the hem and it will end up a little bit shorter than your initial cut. Next grab an elastic and put around your waist then, snip off the excess elastic when it fits perfectly around your waist. Next , turn your t-shirt inside out and place the elastic in the bottom of the hem and we are not going to gluing the elastic at all instead this elastic is meant as a guideline for now to show where we should be putting the glue. Leave significant space from the edge to the point where you will put the glue so that you can easily slide your elastic. Remove the elastic and fold the bottom of t-shirt and attach it to glue. Do this to the entire top. Next, slide the elastic throughout the entire top. When both the edges of elastic are out , glue them together or you can sew it and that’s it an elastic crop top is ready!
