25 HOME ACTIVITIES TO DO DURING QUARANTINE

Well, what is quarantine?? Many of the people don’t even know the meaning of this word which is a greater need for world due to huge pandemic, COVID-19.

Basically, quarantine is a state or restriction where the person aren’t allowed to move from one place to another in order to prevent the spread of diseases. 

Staying at home is not easy thing to do in this era. It is a great achievement for people out there in the whole world to stay at their home in few weeks. Being in quarantine for longer period can be difficult and ya boring too!

Well, try to avoid going in public places, go to the market in emergency only and remain at your home. This is a world emergency and we need to solve it together. Listen to your government and health organizations for your own safety.

So, being in quarantine could be boring or fun too depending upon you. Do these amazing ideas you can do while being in quarantine to save yourself from pandemic.

1. Watch Series(NETFLIX/ AMAZON PRIME)

Yeah! There’s the time you can watch your favorite series or movies. Personal recommendations would be “Stranger things”, “The Crown “, “Breaking Man “.

2. Play indoor games with your family

Give some fun time to your family and show love to them. Play ludo,  carrom and even video games with them. Enjoy at home with family rather than enjoying alone outside with friends.

Usually, in our busy schedule, we don’t get time to clean up our closet. During quarantine, you have enough time and can organise your clothes.

4. Revise your study material

Being a student, revise your syllabus to gain more knowledge. Don’t study for hours but study for few in order to make your future better and save yourself from this pandemic.

5. Draw something

Try to draw something of your interests. You can just stand in front of your mirror and maje portrait of yourself. You can be better and better.

6. Write a journal

Write some articles or journal of your choice / interest. Being better in something is what everyone wants. So ya, try to write something.

7. Make some DIY crafts

8. Clean your home

Clean up your messy room. Organise your files, books and keep them at their right place. Clean out all the dust throughout the day.

10. Call a friend / relative / cousins

Instead of meeting, talk to your friends/ relatives / cousins on call. It is the best way to be safe and not communicate this disease.

12. Prepare your future plans

Show love to your pets. Play with them and teach them new tricks. It is a great time you can spend with your loving pets.

Create weekly meal plans on your note book and try new recipes and share them with your family.

There are many channels and apps you are providing facilities of learning new languages. Take the language of your interest and just start learning it.

Try a  new recipe and just go in the kitchen, and try to bake it. Be safe and take precautions for this.

Listen to self motivating podcasts. A best way to keep yourself busy, happy and motivated.

19.  Meditate

Do some meditation exercise at home. Convince your family too to exercise with you to keep their mind calm and focussed.

21. Complete a puzzle

Take a puzzle challenge and complete it. A better way of passing time and making your mind more productive.

Go through your emails, delete the unwanted. Also, remove the trash files and organize the data in a better manner.

Make unique arrangements to your furniture like sofa, desks and dressing tables etc. Change the look of your house and make it more stunning.

Maintain your exercise routine as it was before. Do gym exercises at home. Watch tutorials if needed.
