Now that you have identified your skin type, the next step is to build up a skin care routine according to your skin type. Yes, different skin types need to be treated differently. But first we are going to create a basic skin care routine which is common for every skin type women and then I will tell you how to take care of your face according to your skin type.

Skin care routine doesn’t need to be complicated so that you forgot which step you need to follow when and how. So follow these 6 steps to make your skin look healthier!

BASIC SKIN CARE ROUTINE:

• Morning edition:

Step 1: Cleanser

Start your morning skin care regimen by splashing warm water on your face. Use a cleanser which is specially meant for your skin type. Avoid using harsh cleanser.

Step 2: Toner

Mostly women avoid using toner in their skin care regimen because there face feels dry and irritate the skin, but this happens due to use of fragrance toner. So avoid these types of toner and use alcohol free toner.
Toners are not necessary to use if you want to skip, you can skip them from your skin care regimen, but they help to remove any dirt, makeup on your skin and balances pH of your skin.

Step 3: Serum

Serum should be applied after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizing so that moisture can be locked in. You can apply it twice daily.
Some women think that they need only one either serum or moisturizer, but it is not true. I know that some serums are hydrating, but they do not seal them in your skin. Serums are not meant to replace moisturizers they help to boost the hydrating effect.

Step 4: Moisturizer

Moisturizing your skin is one of the most important step in skin care regimen. It helps to make your skin look young as it fights with wrinkles and on the other hand boost hydration on your skin.

Why it is important to use moisturizer?

• If we do not use moisturizer than our skin will dry out and become cracked. Moisturizer creates a protective layer which helps us from infections and makes your skin feel soft.

Step 5: Eye cream

Eye cream will help you reduce all the under eye concerns like puffiness and dark circles. Don’t apply it too much, a little is all you need. It nourishes your skin, prevents dullness, and also brighten your eyes.
Sometimes eye creams can be a waste of money because they claim that they will reduce dark circle, puffiness, etc, but they don’t work. So in my opinion, you should take your time in finding the best and most suitable eye cream which works wonders for you. It will take some time, but at last it will be great for your eyes.

Step 6: Sunscreen

Obviously nobody wants to damage there skin from harmful sun rays. So make it a habit of using sunscreen daily in your skin care routine before going out. It will also help you to prevent those uneven skin tones due to sun damage. And yes they make your skin look smooth and healthier.
